Evaluating business risks – Critical temperature controlled environments

Your Business … Our Concern

Dear Process Partner(s)

Since the introduction of The Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 (HSWA) which came into effect on 4 April 2016 we all have become acutely aware of our individual responsibly about getting people home healthy and safe, because it is the right thing to do.

HSWA is just the beginning and signals a new way of thinking about health and safety and now we are finding ‘more and more’ this is affecting our ability to attend after hour callouts if a technician needs to access a building’s roof or remote mounted equipment to carry out a repair, please see WorkSafe NZ link http://www.worksafe.govt.nz/worksafe/hswa

If your business is reliant upon 24/7 critical temperature controlled environment(s) including computer(s) room and process cooler(s) then we will need to develop site specific strategies that can be relied upon in the event of ‘afterhours’ equipment failures.

Ideal Air recommend you communicate with others within your organization and identify what if any critical temperature controlled environments there are and if so contact Ideal Air via one of the following links.

Your Health & Safety… Our Concern

Keeping people safe is a priority at Ideal Air and we have made health & safety a key component (rather than an ‘add on’) of every maintenance/service activity undertaken by technicians on behalf of the business.
